SMLRS Ltd buy ‘End of Life’ vehicles and trailers which are suitable for exporting.

Often the vehicles we sell for export are those which have been taken in as a part exchange from a used vehicle purchased from us.

We can sell nearly any-thing that you may come up with!

Amongst the items we have dealt with are:

• Vans and pick-ups, (both 4x2 and 4x4);
• Rigid vehicles from 3.5 tonnes to 32 tonnes;
• Tractor units, (both 4x2 and 6x2);
• Tandem axle or tri-axle trailers on steel or air suspension.
  
  

Vehicles and trailers which have a current MOT certificate are usually easier to sell but we will buy vehicles and trailers without.

All vehicles and trailers must have complete and correct documentation when delivered to us to ensure their passage through Border and Customs controls.

On some occasions vehicles and trailers will not be suitable for export. On these occasions we will try to sell the these as parts.

For a vehicle we can remove the engine and gearbox as an assembly for export, recycling the cab and chassis. In the case of a trailer we can remove the axles’ or bogie assembly for export, recycling the remainder.

Throughout the transaction we will ensure that the process is fully documented.
